COVID-19 Protocols for Patients Entering our Office
In order to keep our patients and staff safe for the duration of COVID-19, these protocols are mandatory for patients entering Pineland Family Dentistry.
- Please come into the office wearing a mask and use the wall mounted hand sanitizer outside the door prior to entering the office.
- Prior to entering the dental treatment room, each patient’s temperature will be taken by our dental assistant or hygiene team member with a non-contact extraoral infrared thermometer. If the patient’s temperature is greater than 100.4, they will be required to reschedule their appointment.
- We are required to limit the number of people in the office, so we ask, whenever possible, that only the patient comes in for the appointment. If the patient is a minor, one parent/guardian will be allowed to bring the patient into the office following the same safety protocols. We kindly ask the parent/guardian then wait in the hallway or their car to eliminate any unnecessary congestion in the office.
The entire Pineland Family Dentistry team is well-equipped and versed with all the proper PPE protocols and feel confident that we are doing everything necessary to keep our patients and team members safe. Thank you for your cooperation.
